L.I.F.E. Groups are a very important part of the ministry at Lehman Avenue, providing an opportunity for Christians to connect and develop close friendships.
Our L.I.F.E. groups have four major functions:
- Love - We want to see each Christian grow more and more in his love for God and others. Jesus Himself said that the greatest commandment involved loving God with all our
heart, soul, mind, and strength, and secondly, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
- Involvement - We want to make sure that our members are involved in ministry. Life groups are a place where they can get involved and be
an active part of the congregation.
- Fellowship - We are called by God to be connected to one another. The church is called the family of God, or God's household, in scripture. As we meet together and
encourage each other God will bless our lives. Fellowship is an important and vital part of our Life Groups.
- Evangelism - In scripture we are called Christ's ambassadors. Jesus gave His disciples and us the great commission in Matthew, chapter 28. Our love for each other
and our connection to each other is strong today because of Life Groups.
